Belthar's Boisterous Bulwark

Famed blacksmith Belthar and his works were known far and wide. So much so that the Kobald King had him kidnapped. Rescue never came as his clients assumed he'd simply fled with his commissions. He was left, doomed to slave in King Herke's forge.

Belthar's final act before execution was to forge a magically sealed vault with a door that could only be opened with six of his swords.

Implementation

Belthar's Boisterous Bulwark is a memorable and easy-to-implement centrepiece for a small dungeoneering run. Simply deploy the door at a dead end near the entrance and litter the six swords among groups of enemies.
