The Early Bird

The Early Bird is a work-in-progress.

The idea here is that it'll become a quickfire game suitable for warm-ups, with single word, quick-action play that is only broken when two players duel. 

Ultimately, it'll be kind of like watching a high-stakes poker game where players are already thinking about their next move, only for them to have to adapt based on the actions of the last player.

Its final form, which is some way off, will be a single-page rules sheet, with additional sheets of artwork, pieces and trackers.

At the time of posting, V0.4 is just a rough outline of the final mechanics, which are due to be shifted around to speed up gameplay.  I plan to finish it up in the first half of 2024. I'll fix up this description to include a better description, and some images, soon... I just want this live before 2023 says buhbye.
